Daily schedule execution with Staffing Center

The Staffing Center (STC) component allows you to manage employees on a higher level. The Staffing Center allows you to monitor multiple units, teams, and locations, and determine if there are any last minute staffing modifications.

The Staffing Center provides you with a view of all shifts that are scheduled for any specified date. However, the Staffing Center is most often used to make changes to a schedule for the current day.

The shifts in the Staffing Center can be grouped by Unit or Position. Each level can be expanded to view the details. All employees scheduled for that level are displayed.

The Staffing Center provides you with the ability to:

Display a snapshot in time of the schedule.
Manage schedules for units and positions within team security.
Manage schedules quickly and conveniently.

For example, if one group is understaffed, you can use the Staffing Center to easily move additional employees into the understaffed group. As well, you can fill relief shifts by moving an already scheduled employee, or adding a new employee to the schedule.

Note: Staffing Center is hidden on new installs by default as of release 7.1.0.1. System administrators can enable it if required by configuring group permissions for the MVS_STAFFING_CENTER maintenance form.
