Updating a job for multiple shifts

When using the mass edit option:

  • No partial transactions are processed; the process is all or nothing.
  • The transaction is recorded as an Update Shift in the Shift History logs.
  • The option only functions for employees qualified to work the shift.
  1. Display the ASV view in which you want to update a job over multiple shifts. See Displaying schedules with ASV.
  2. Click the Edit Mode icon in the upper right corner of the window.
  3. Select Mass Edit. The pencil icon for mass edits is displayed with the function icons.

  4. Select the shifts for which you want to update the job.
  5. Click the pencil icon for mass edits and select Change Position.
  6. Select the job to which you want to change your selected shifts from the Position lookup.
  7. Click Save. The job that you selected is applied to the shifts.
