Configuring the Budgeted HPPD

Use the steps below to add the Budgeted Hours Per Patient Day by Team and Job.
Note: Any job added to this sub-form with the appropriate budget is considered part of the HPPD calculation.
  1. Navigate to Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Advanced Settings > ES Data Definitions > Budgeted Hours Per Patient Day.
  2. Click Create New Entry.
  3. On the Budgeted Hours Per Patient Day - Details page, specify this information:
    Effective Start Date
    Select an effective start date.
    Effective End Date
    Select an effective end date.
    Budgeted Hours
    Provide the number of budgeted hours.
  4. Click Save.

    The Budget Jobs sub-form displays.

  5. On the Budget Jobs sub-form, specify this information:
    Job
    Use the drop-down to specify the job.
    Budgeted Hours
    Provide the budgeted hours. Use numeric values with a maximum of two decimals.
    Note: The budgeted hours value is the total amount of hours that is required by each job to work within a 24-hour time span, within the specified date range (effective start date and effective end date).
    Budgeted Headcount
    Provide the budgeted headcount. Use numeric values.
    Note: The budgeted headcount value is the total employees required in that job within the 24-hour period.
  6. Click Save.
Total Budgeted Hours on the main form calculates and displays based on the numbers entered on the sub-form. This value is then displayed on the Staffing Adjustment modal and the KPI panel on the Central Staffing page.
