Self-scheduling process
A self-scheduling process defines the schedule start and end date, and the shifts that employees can self-schedule. Windows within a self-scheduling process determine the self-scheduling groups that can access the shifts. Windows also define the timing when employees can select the available shifts.
Process names must be unique, and process descriptions are optional. The schedule start date and schedule end date determine the dates of unassigned shifts that can be included in the self-scheduling process. The team, schedule start date, schedule length, and schedule end date cannot be changed after process creation.
Before creating a new process, you should create the unassigned shifts to be scheduled. These shifts can be generated from a shift template or as ad-hoc shifts, but they must be unpublished shifts.
