Overview
The Configuration Editor feature accelerates the LFSO configuration process and helps users perform required maintenance tasks more efficiently. The Configuration Editor is intended for use only by system or business administrators with a full knowledge of how scheduling works within their organization.
Users can employ the Configuration Editor to explore their organization’s structure using a combination of advanced searches, locations, filters and references to search, filter, and group entities logically. The mass edit functionality enables administrators to quickly make changes to large numbers of LFSO configuration entities, such as stores, departments, hours of operation, and staffing requirements, according to search criteria and filtering.
The Configuration Editor also has improved data validation. The improved data validation verifies data upon submission and identifies any errors that require attention.
The Configuration Editor is enabled by default for all new LFSO installations, but is disabled by default for all LFSO upgrade installations for versions prior to 5.0.x. See Enabling or Disabling the Feature.
