Key Components

These components are used with employee teams:

Employee

The employee to whom you want to associate a team.

Team

The team you want to associate with the specified employee.

Start Date

The date the employee team becomes effective.

End Date

The date the employee team becomes ineffective.

Home Team

Indicates whether or not this is the employee’s home team.

System Generated

Indicates whether or not this team was generated by the application.

When performing certain operations, the application creates team assignments automatically, rather than requiring a user to formally make team assignments in the application.

For example, when an employee is loaned to another store using ELaB functionality, the application automatically assigns the employee to a team (temporarily) in the borrow location for the duration of the borrow period.
