Key Components
You cannot add multiple staffing criteria at the same time.
These components are used with staffing criteria:
- Activity
- An activity for the requirement.
- Job
- A job for the requirement. For example, a restaurant could have a job set featuring all customer-facing positions: hostess, wait staff, bartender, cashier.
- Skill
- A skill for the requirement.
- Skill Level
- The level of skill for the requirement
- Shift Start Offset
-
A value to be used by the application to schedule the shift start time for the specific requirement. This component specifies the amount of time before the shift’s regular start time that this shift should begin.
For example, cashiers might be required to arrive 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled shift begins and they actually begin serving customers on the floor. They may require this 15 minutes to perform set-up tasks, such as counting the cash in their register.
- Shift End Offset
-
A value to be used by the application to schedule the shift end time for the requirement. This component specifies the amount of time after the shift’s regular end time that this shift should finish.
For example, cashiers might be required to remain 15 minutes later than the scheduled shift ends and they stop serving customers on the floor. Cashiers may require this 15 minutes to perform close-up tasks, such as depositing the cash from their register and counting the float for the next their next shift.
- Min Required
-
A value representing the minimum number of staff for this requirement.
You can only define advanced minimums when editing an existing staffing requirement.
- Max Required
- A value representing the maximum number of staff for this requirement.
