Location copying
Location copy does not properly copy ancestral distributions and distributions details. Staffing requirements created during location copy reference the original distributions if those distributions were defined in the ancestral hierarchy. If distributions were defined outside the ancestral hierarchy, they are not be included as part of the copied location's hierarchy.
If proper ancestral distribution copy (such as that which occurs when copying an activity) were to take place, location copy would suffer from significant performance degradation. Proper ancestral distribution copy would impact performance because the schema for distributions and distribution overrides is very complex.
Proper ancestral distribution copy requires schema changes. These changes are to be addressed in a future release of the LFSO Configuration Editor.
