Display Conventions
When editing entities, these conventions are used in the UI:
-
Unique fields (*unique*) indicate that each selected entity has a value for the field, a value not shared by any other entity.
You can click the *unique* link to view a list of the values of this field for each entity. Unique fields are read-only and cannot be modified.
- Single value fields indicate that all selected entities share the same value for the field. You can see this value within the field itself.
-
Multi-value fields indicate that selected entities have different values for the field. When a field is labeled multi-value, the field’s value appears blank.
You can click the accompanying link to expand the window to display a list of all the field values and the number of selected entities that have that value. Clicking the link again hides this information from view.
- Bold fields indicate that the value has changed and has not yet been saved.
- Read-only fields display information for values that cannot be modified.
