Editing or canceling posted shifts
Manager posted shifts can be edited in any way that an unassigned shift can be edited, including assigning the shift to an available employee. The shift is removed from the billboard after any edits are performed. The shift can then be re-posted to the billboard if it is still unassigned. For employee posted shifts, the shift post must be canceled before the shift can be edited. The Add Split Shift option can be used to assign the posting employee to additional shifts before or after the posted shift.
Shift posts can be canceled to remove them from the list of available shifts on the billboard. When a shift post is canceled, any employees that have pending requests to claim the shift are sent notifications that the shift is no longer available. When an shift post is canceled that was posted by an employee, the posting employee is sent a notification that their shift post was canceled.
