Adding jobs
- Select Maintenance > Labor Metrics > Job.

Click
Create New Entry.
The Job - Details page is displayed.

Specify this information:
- Job
- Specify the name of the job that you are adding.
- Description
- Specify a brief description of the job.
- Start Date
- Select the start date of the period for which the job is valid using the calendar lookup.
- End Date
- Select the end date of the period for which the job is valid using the calendar lookup.
- Labor Metric Security
- Select the labor metric security group to apply to this job using the lookup. You must select one group to create a job.

Click
Save.
The Job Set and Job Team sections are displayed.

Optionally, select a job set for this job in the Job Set section,
and click
Save.
A job set is a parent job that has multiple child jobs. This option allows you to create staff requirements for the parent job while employees are assigned to the child jobs. Job sets are particularly useful when the employee import process assigns jobs from the HR system that may not match directly with how you want to schedule employees.

In the Job Team section, complete these fields for this job:
- Team
- Select the team from the lookup. If the job is shared by all locations, the team can be specified as Workbrain Root. Otherwise, select the lower level team where the job is used.
- Daily OT Threshold
- Specify the number of hours that an employee must work in a day before starting overtime.
- Weekly OT Threshold
- Specify the number of hours that an employee must work in a week before starting overtime.
- Average Hourly Rate
- Specify the employee’s average hourly pay rate. This average hourly rate is used for schedule cost estimations. To use the employee's base rate, set the average hourly rate to 0 in this field.
- OT Multiplier
- Specify the number by which the employee’s pay rate is multiplied for overtime.
- OT Increment
- Specify a number that is used by the system to estimate the overtime cost, where Base Rate * OT Multiplier + OT increment = OT Cost.
- Click Save.
