Editing volume in a forecast for a specific forecast driver

Forecasts are created using historic data that has been imported into the application. Forecasts only need to be edited when you want to add information that is not shown in the forecasted date period.

  1. Select Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Forecasting.
  2. Select a forecast driver displayed under the Forecast Displayed heading.
    The Forecast Numbers section displays the current, original, and last year's forecasts for your selected forecast driver.

    Use the Absolute Modify field to edit the forecast by the value in the field for a specific day.

    You can edit the forecasted volume for all drivers in the same action.

  3. Specify a percentage in the Percent Modify field. For example, 10.
    You can increase or decrease the forecast by the amount displayed in the Modify field.

    The left arrow decreases the forecasted volume for all drivers shown above.

    The right arrow increases the forecasted volume for all drivers.

  4. Click Save.
