Setting the PERFORM_REQUEST_CHARACTER_ENCODING registry parameter

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Registry Maintenance.
  2. Select the database > PERFORM_REQUEST_CHARACTER_ENCODING registry path.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Specify true in the Variable Value field.
  5. Click Save.
