Creating employee overrides

If the Creates Employee Override check box is selected in the Shift Pattern Import Interface Task Parameters page, the interface creates an employee shift pattern override (override type 700) for the specified Emp_Name within Ovr_Start_Date and Ovr_End_Date. The WBU_Name field for the shift pattern override is set to Shift Pattern Interface. If the shift pattern is found with an offset, the shift pattern override is created with the detected offset. In this case, an "Employee override created with offset X" message is displayed on the Import Transactions page.

See Shift pattern offset.

If the Creates Employee Override check box is cleared, overrides are not created and values in the Emp_Name, Ovr_Start_Date, and Ovr_End_Date columns are ignored.
