Setting up default shift imports

  1. Create the CSV file.
    See CSV format for Default Shifts Import.
  2. In the Job Scheduler, add a schedule for an Import Task
  3. Specify these parameters for the Import Task:
    Import Type
    Select DEFAULT SHIFTS IMPORT.
    File Name
    Specify the path and file name of the CSV file that you created.
    UTF-8 Encoded
    Select this check box if the CSV file is encoded as UTF-8.
    Performs Difference

    Select this check box if you want the Import Task to perform a comparison between the current CSV file and the CSV file that was last imported. Only the information that is different is imported.

  4. Click Submit.
  5. In the Job Scheduler, add a schedule for an Interface Task and specify these parameters:
    Interface Type
    Select DEFAULT SHIFTS IMPORT.
  6. Click Submit.
