Enabling the Employee Import interface

To enable the Employee Import interface, you must set security permissions to give specific user groups access to these maintenance forms:

  • Copy Interface Layout
  • Interface Layouts
  • Interface Fields
  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Maintenance Forms
  2. Click the Show Advanced Search icon.
  3. In the Form Name field, specify Copy Layout or Interface Layouts or Interface Fields.
  4. Click Find.
  5. Click the Edit link next to the desired maintenance form.
  6. Scroll down to the Maintenance Form Groups section or click the Maintenance Form Groups link.
  7. Select the user groups for which you want to grant access to the maintenance form using the Security Group lookup.
  8. Select the type of permissions for each user group from the Permissions drop-down list:
    • EDIT: Allows users (all users in the security group) to view and edit maintenance forms. Any Create New Entry links or Delete check boxes on forms or pages are functional.
    • VIEW: Allows users to view maintenance forms only. Any Create New Entry links or Delete check boxes are hidden.
    • NONE: Prevents users from accessing maintenance forms. They are not displayed in the Header, Table of Contents, or Folder Tree.
  9. Click Save.
