Setting up location properties imports

Follow these steps to set up WFM to import location properties from CSV files.

  1. Create the CSV location properties import file.
    You must create the CSV location properties import file according to the file format specifications.

    See Location Properties import field specifications.

  2. Create a Java task in the job scheduler using the Aggregate Task option.
  3. Click the Parameters button for the new task.
  4. Select Import Task and Interface Task in the Available Task Types column and click Add/Remove.
  5. Click Configure Selected Tasks.
  6. Click Parameters for the Import Task.
  7. Specify this information:
    Import Type
    Select WFM LOCATION PROPERTY IMPORT.
    Use Default Transformer?
    Select this check box.
    File Name
    Specify the path to the Location property import CSV file on the job scheduler.
    UTF-Encoded
    Select this check box.
    Performs Difference
    Clear this check box.
  8. Click Submit then click OK.
  9. Click Parameters for the Interface Task.
  10. Select WFM LOCATION PROPERTY IMPORT.
  11. Click Next and then click OK.
  12. Click Back.
  13. Click Save.
  14. Run the task.
    The task runs and adds or updates the location properties in the CSV file.
  15. Navigate to Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Setup > Location Property.
  16. Check the list of location properties to verify that the imported properties are displayed.
