Error messages

You can view the logs in the Job Scheduler or the Import Transactions page for errors during a MVS Shift Configuration Import. See "Job Scheduler" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.

This table lists the possible error messages for a MVS Shift Configuration Import:

Error Message Description
Shift Name exists The Shift Name exists already exists in the system.
Note: Only new shifts can be imported. Edits and updates are not allowed.
Cannot create multiple Shift Attributes within a Shift Only one shift attribute can be created per shift during import.
Unrecognized type The Import Type field does not contain a valid value.
Invalid date format The date format is invalid.
String field values exceeding permitted width for FIELD_NAME The entered string field values exceed the permitted width for a particular field.
Invalid FIELD_NAME The specified referenced value does not exist in the system.
Note: For example, when importing the day part, the shift attribute must already exist in WFM.
Missing required field {FIELD NAME} One or more required fields are missing.
A row belonging to a Shift was specified non-contiguously A row belongs to a shift but was specified as non-contiguous.
Cannot specify multiple Shift Teams within a Shift Only one shift team can be specified per shift during import.
Shift Label cannot be added because it already exists A shift label that already exists within the system cannot be added during import.
Missing import type IMPORT_TYPE The required import types are missing.
At least one minute of the shift has no activity. The specified activity start and end times do not add up to cover the entire shift from start to end.
If any configuration is to be applied to child teams, the Apply to Sub-teams flag should be checked in the Shift row The Apply to Sub teams field is N but a shift team is specified.
If Apply to Sub-teams flag is checked in the Shift row, configuration for child teams must be specified The Apply to Sub teams is Y but a shift team is not specified.
