Error messages

You can view the logs in the Job Scheduler or the Import Transactions page for errors during a Work Summary Import. See "Job Scheduler" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.

Errors are also shown in the Import Log Report. See the Infor Workforce Management Cognos Reporting Administration Guide.

This table lists the possible error messages from the Message column in the Import Transactions page for a Work Summary Import:

Error Message Description
No rows were added for Employee {Employee Name} because it is a pending employee. Please use the ION processor to complete the initial employee creation to mark this employee as non-pending This update was for an employee in pending status. Use the ION processor to complete the initial employee creation to mark the employee as not pending.
No rows were added for Employee {Employee Name} because it is a pending employee with pre-existing rows, existing rows will be updated Although the ION process was used, the rows were already created for the pending employee. In this instance, only updates are allowed.
Error: {EMP_NAME/WORK_DATE} cannot be null. Required fields cannot be null.
Error: Employee {x} was not found. The employee was not found.
Error: Override Type {x} was not found. The override type was not found.
Error: Calc Group Name {x} was not found. The calculation group name was not found.
Error: {WRKS_ERROR/WRKS_MESSAGES/WRKS_COMMENTS} exceeds the maximum field length of 1000 characters. The {WRKS_ERROR/WRKS_MESSAGES/WRKS_COMMENTS} in the imported record is more than 1000 characters.
Error: Incorrect Value provided for ACTION The only valid values are blank or APPEND_COMMENTS.
