Error messages

This table contains a list of possible error messages that may be recorded during the rotation import process. Error messages are stored in the Message column of the Import Transactions page.
Message Description
No rows were added for Employee {Employee Name} because it is a pending employee. Please use the ION processor to complete the initial employee creation to mark this employee as non-pending This update was for an employee in pending status. Use the ION processor to complete the initial employee creation to mark the employee as not pending.
No rows were added for Employee {Employee Name} because it is a pending employee with pre-existing rows, existing rows will be updated Although the ION process was used, the rows were already created for the pending employee. In this instance, only updates are allowed.
Type does not contain MR or OTS Rotation Type column does not contain MR or OTS.
Row [{row_number}] - Rows should have sequential ranks. Rotation row rank cannot be the same for different rows. Rotation Row Rank values are not sequential for the specified row.
Shifts sequence cannot be empty. Shift sequence should be from [{start_sequence}] to [{end_sequence}] for Rotation [{rotation_name}] Row Rank [{rotation_row_rank}] Rotation Row Rank is blank for the specified row.
Rotation [{rotation_name}] should have valid shift sequence from [{start} to {end}] Shift Sequence column for a rotation row is not sequential. For each row, a record must exist for every day from 0 to the value specified in {end}.
Rotation [{rotation_name}] not in DRAFT status. The existing rotation updated by the import file is not in DRAFT status.
Auto Row Naming value is invalid. Only Y or N allowed or can be left blank. Invalid value in the Auto Row Naming column.
Row [{row_number}] - [{field_name}] value is required Value is not specified for the specified row in the specified field.
Row [{row_number}] - Field [ROTATION_LENGTH] should be greater than 0 Rotation Length is 0 or a negative number.
Row [{row_number}] - Field [ROTATION_ROW_RANK] should be greater than 0 Rotation Row Rank is 0 or a negative number.
Row [{row_number}] - Invalid date format provided for field [{field_name}] value [{value}]. Date format should be MM/dd/yyyy Date in the specified field does not conform to MM/DD/YYYY format.
Row [{row_number}] - Invalid {part} {value} in date {date}. Date format should be MM/dd/yyyy Invalid date specified. For example, 15/25/2022 would be an invalid date.
Row [{row_number}] - Field [{field_name}] in the imported record is more than [{character_limit}] characters Flag or UDF value specified exceeds the character limit.
Row [{row_number}] - {error} Specified error occurred when importing the specified row.

Row [{row_number}] - Field [{field_name}] - Value [{value}] does not match with existing value

Specified field value does not match the existing value for an existing rotation being updated. Certain fields may not be updated after rotation creation.
All rows within Rotation [{rotation_name}] should have same length [{length}] Rotation rows in the same rotation specify different values in the Rotation Length column.
One or more Rotation records failed Unspecified error occurred when importing this record.
One or more Rotation records failed. Reason: {reason} Specified error occurred when importing this record.
Row [{row_number}] - The Start Date [{start_Date}] must be on or after the Pay Period Start Date [pay_period_start_date] Start date is before the pay group start date. This error only occurs if the MR_PAYGRP_START_DATE_CHECK_REQ registry parameter is set to true.
Mismatched Rotation attribute [{attribute name}] Rotation attributes do not match for all its records.
This table contains warning messages that may be recorded during the import process. Warning messages do not cause the import to fail.
Message Description
[Warning] Row name has been overridden by Row Rank since Auto Row Naming is set to Y. Value specified in the Rotation Row Name column is not used because auto row naming is enabled. Rotation rows in the rotation are numbered based on their position in the display order.
