Enabling the "About Your Personal Info" page

Similar to the Permanent Erasure tool, the About Your Personal Info page is hidden by default and must first be enabled by setting the appropriate security permissions for users that will have access to the page in the application.

The About Your Personal Info page provides some general GDPR information and guidelines for the user and is used in conjunction with the Permanent erasure tool.

To enable the About Your Personal Info page in the application:

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Maintenance Forms.
  2. Search for these two maintenance forms:
    • Data protection and management
    • About Your Personal Info
  3. After locating each of these forms, select Edit for the form you want to change.
    Note: The Data protection and management maintenance form may already be enabled as part of enabling the Permanent erasure tool. For more information see Enabling the permanent erasure tool.
  4. Under Maintenance Form Groups, select the appropriate permissions for the security group that you want to access these forms. Due to the sensitive nature of this operation, it may be advisable to only allow System Admins to access these forms. However, you can select the appropriate options based on your business requirements.
  5. After these steps are complete, the About Your Personal Info page will appear underMaintenance > System Administration > Data Protection and Management in the application for the users that you selected in the previous step. You can proceed to edit the contents of this page to suit the requirements of your organization. You can also enable the About Your Personal Info page in ETM and Mobile WFM. Note: ETM is not supported in multi-tenant deployments of WFM.
