Automated decisions and profiling in Workforce Management
An individual has the right to know what kinds of automated decisions, including profiling, that may have legal or significant impacts on the employee.
The
flag can be used to track an employee’s consent for being auto-scheduled by the system. This field is hidden by default on both the and pages. If needed, the field level permissions can be updated to make it visible to the appropriate individuals. For more information on how to update this field, see Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.During the initial import, the employee by default will have the automatic decision-making field (System Scheduling Enabled) set to Yes (Y). A registry parameter (/system/TA_CONSTANTS/DEFAULT_EMP_SYSTEM_SCHEDULING_ENABLED) is available to change this to default to No (N) if the No (N) value is entered during the import. If Workforce Management is the system of record, the data subject has the option to opt-out of auto-assignment if they are being scheduled by either the LFSO or MVS scheduling modules directly in the application. This can be achieved by updating the
field in the Employee or the maintenance page in the application. If you are using one of the auto-assignment modules and you want the employee to be able to opt-out of auto-assignment, then this field can be unhidden by using config mode to modify the field level permissions for this field on the or the maintenance page.
