Masking leave codes in printed schedules
A leave code is stored in WFM when employees are absent from work or request time off. Leave codes, for example for sick or disability leave, may constitute personal health data. GDPR rules prohibit personal health data from being shared except under specific exceptions.
WFM can be configured to mask leave codes in printed PDF schedules. When this feature is enabled, a generic leave code replaces employee leave codes in printed schedules. This allows printed schedules to note employee absences without including the type or reason for employee leaves. The generic leave code can be localized for different user locales.
This feature affects schedule printouts from these screens:
- Master Rotation
- One-time Schedule
- ASV
