Viewing timesheet information

You can access these types of information from the Daily Timesheet:

  • Number of available sick, vacation, or personal days

In the daily view, click the employee's name in the Detail column of the timesheet. In the range view, click the icon beside the employee's name at the top of the timesheet. Scroll down to the Employee Balances section to view the number of vacation and sick days.

  • Details about the jobs, projects, departments, or dockets that employees have worked on

In the daily view, expand the row for a selected employee to see that employee's details for the day. In the range view, expand the row for a selected date. The inline details are displayed, including how many hours the employee worked and on which job, department, project, docket, and team.

You can view work details of employees from their timesheet. Work details include when the employee worked and the times of any breaks through the day. They also reflect whether the employee took a vacation or a sick day, or was in training. Work details also contain a breakdown of how an employee’s time was spent during a day.

To view the premiums an employee earned, expand the row of a particular day to view if any premiums were earned that day. The inline details are displayed, including how many hours the employee worked and on which job, department, project, docket, and team.

  • Work details

Other details, such as rules applied, retroactive adjustments, and various logs are accessible from the Work Details popup.

In the daily view, click the Details link for the selected employee in the Detail column. In the range view, click the date link in the Detail column for the selected day. The Work Details window is displayed.

    • Clocks Pending: Displays pending clocks.
    • Clocks Rejected: Displays rejected clocks.
    • Clocks Applied: Displays applied clocks (location data is not displayed).
    • Day Clocks Applied: Displays applied clocks including location data, if available.
  • Applied overrides, which show changes that are made to the timesheet

By default, the Daily Timesheet does not display applied overrides. To view the overrides applied to a timesheet, click Show Edits.

Any applied overrides are displayed with the details of what was modified on the timesheet. For example, an override that changed the department the employee worked in for the shift would display Department= next to the override times.

  • MVS shifts

If shifts were created in the Multi-view Scheduler (MVS), you can view and edit the schedule details in the timesheet.

See Editing MVS shifts in the Daily Timesheet.

  • Clock approval status

To view the current approval status for a day, scroll to the right on the timesheet to display the Time Approval Status column. Possible values are CREATE, RECREATE, PENDING, APPROVED, and REJECTED.

If a time approval record has been rejected, the Issues icon is displayed.
