Enabling the application UI for custom scripting

The UI for custom scripting is disabled by default through maintenance forms. Use these steps to enable the UI required to implement custom scripting in your environment.

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Maintenance Forms.
  2. Enter extension in the text box and click Find to display these maintenance forms:
    • EXTENSION SCRIPT
    • SCRIPTABLE EXTENSIONS
    • EXTENSION SCRIPT TESTER
    • SCRIPT OUTPUT WINDOW
    • EXTENSION SCRIPT HISTORY
    • EXTENSION SCRIPT CALLOUTS
  3. Select Edit for each of these maintenance forms and give EDIT permissions to the security group your custom scripting administrator belongs to.
  4. Click Save.
  5. The custom scripting UI should now be visible in the WFM menu tree for your custom scripting administrator under the Maintenance > System Administration > Scriptable Extensions folder.
Note: Some of the menu items will not be available until you load an existing script such as the sample or create a new script.
