Moving employees between reader groups

Employees can only perform clock punches on the clocks that belong to the same reader group. You may need to move employees between reader groups on the system. For example, if an employee switches workstations and needs to clock in and out using clocks in another location, you must move the employee to the appropriate reader group.

  1. Select Maintenance > Employees > Employee.
    The Employee page is displayed.
  2. Click the Edit link next to an employee to change their reader group.
    The Employee Detail page is displayed.
  3. Scroll down to the Employee Reader Groups section.
  4. Select the reader group Reader Group drop-down list.
  5. Click Save.
