Installing the Administration Console

Note: The automated installer artifact requires a valid JRE to run. You will receive an error if you do not have a valid JRE installed. You must also set the PATH variable for Java before starting the installation.

  1. Browse to the location of the wbcs-ac_setup_*.exe/bin file.
  2. Launch the executable file.
    In Linux/UNIX, use this command:

    ./wbcs_setup_*.bin

  3. On the first screen of the installer, click Next.
  4. On the Choose Install Folder screen, specify the installation path for the Administration Console and supporting files.
    The default installation path for your operating system is shown.
  5. click Next.
  6. On the Choose Shortcut Folder screen, select where you want to show the Admin Console icons.
  7. click Next.
  8. Select a supported Java VM for the Administration Console.
    You can use these buttons to select a different instance if the one you want is not shown:
    • Click Search Another Location Select to search for a supported Java VM on your machine.
    • Click Choose Java Executable to manually select the java.exe file on your machine.
  9. After selecting the version of Java, click Next.
    The Pre-Installation Summary page is displayed.
  10. Review your installation option selections.
    Use the Previous and Next buttons to make changes to your selections.
  11. Click Install.
    The installation may take several minutes to complete.
  12. Click Done.
