Changing the Admin Console user ID, password, and session timeout for the clock

Using this procedure you can use the Admin Console to update any of these configuration settings for your clock: user ID, password, and session timeout. After changing the user ID or password, you will be prompted to log in again with the new credentials.

  1. Connect to your clock using the Admin Console.
  2. Navigate to the Settings tab and expand the Security node which contains these configurations:
    adminconsole.userid
    User ID for the Admin Console connection to your clock.
    adminconsole.password
    Password for the Admin Console connection to your clock.
    adminconsole.session.timeout
    Session timeout in minutes for the Admin Console connection to your clock.
  3. To change one of these configuration settings, right click the setting in the Admin Console and select Modify Value.
  4. Specify a new value for the setting and click OK to change the value.
  5. Select Update Server to save the change.
    If you modify the user ID or password you will be prompted to log in to the Admin Console again and provide the new credentials.
