Enabling meal confirmation for your employees

  1. In Workforce Management, select Maintenance > Payroll Settings > Calc Group.
  2. Click Edit beside the employee's calculation group.
  3. Select the Enable Meal Confirmation check box.
  4. Click Save.
    Note these additional points about enabling meal confirmation in the calculation group:
    • All employees in the calculation group that you selected will have meal confirmation enabled by default.
    • All existing employees’ badges will be enabled for meal confirmation. You cannot enable/disable the Enable Meal Confirmation check box for the employee directly, it is read-only.
    • If one or more employees in the calculation group do not require the meal confirmation prompt, you must assign them to a separate calculation group with the Enable Meal Confirmation check box unselected.
  5. Select Maintenance > Reader Setup > Reader Organization > Reader Groups.
  6. Click Edit beside the clock reader group that contains the readers for your clocks.
    Note these additional points about enabling meal confirmation in the reader group:
    • All clock readers that are already in this reader group or that you add to this reader group will have meal confirmation enabled by default.
    • You cannot enable/disable the Enable Meal Confirmation check box for the reader. It is read-only.
  7. Select the Enable Meal Confirmation check box.
  8. Click Save.
