Adding, removing and disabling clock configurations
Depending on changing business needs, you may need to remove, disable, or add configurations to the 8000. Disabling or deleting configurations from the clock can be processed by supplying the appropriate directives in the settings file. You can add or enable a previously disabled configuration by adding the property to the settings file (settings.conf). The settings file can then be updated via the configuration update process.
See Configuration updates for the clock.
When updating the settings.conf file, you should follow these guidelines:
- The file should only contain changes to your configuration.
- Each subsequent update to the file must contain the changes from previous updates. For example, if you have completed two updates, update #2 must also contain the changes that were completed previously in update #1.
