Unit Questionnaire Overview

The Clinical Science unit questionnaire gathers data from staff about the outcome of a shift. The data is used to assess the employee view as to whether a shift was staffed appropriately. The data collected is compared to Clinical Science generated hours and WFM scheduled hours to determine if changes in staffing are required.

The questionnaire is filled out during a test phase immediately following Clinical Science implementation. Your organization determines how long the initial testing phase lasts.

In addition, your organization might require the questionnaire to be filled out periodically, for example, annually, to determine if the auto assignment settings require adjustment.

The unit questionnaire asks a set of preconfigured questions that are quick and easy to complete. Infor provides these best practices for responding to it. If practices at your site differ, follow those instead.
Note: Detailed instructions for completing the questionnaire are in the Infor Workforce Management Clinical Science User Guide.
  • All applicable sections should be filled out once per shift for the duration of the testing period.
  • A charge nurse or another employee with a view of the shift as a whole should complete the survey.
  • The survey should be completed after the shift completes but as close to the end as possible.

IMPORTANT:The preconfigured questions should not be changed. If you believe a change is required for your site, contact your Infor representatives.
