Creating the Auto Assignment Job Scheduler task

The Clinical Science auto assignment feature requires that a background task, AutoAssignment Scheduler Task, is running. This section explains how to create and configure the task.

Note: This topic assumes you are familiar with the WFM Job Scheduler. If you are not, search Documentation Central (docs.infor.com) for more information.
  1. Log in as an administrative user.
  2. From the Admin Portal, navigate to WFM > Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
  3. To create the schedule for running the task at your site, follow these steps.
    1. Click Add Schedule.
    2. Assign a name to the schedule. This can be anything you want it to be. Choose a name that makes it easy for schedulers to locate if necessary.
    3. Choose the Task Type. From the list, select AutoAssignment Scheduler Task.
  4. Specify a schedule for the task. Infor recommends that you configure it to run every five seconds. Your screen looks like this when you are finished configuring.
