Creating a new intervention list

This topic describes how to create a new intervention list.
  1. Select Clinical Science > Setup > Interventions > Intervention List - Override.
  2. On the Intervention List Override screen, click New.
  3. On the next screen, from the Intervention List Details portion of the screen, make any updates to these fields as required:
    Intervention List Gov Rep Code

    If a reporting code is required, select it from the list.

    Adjustment Factor
    Specify the adjustment factor as a decimal, which is a percentage that is added to the intervention to account.
    Intervention List Type
    Select PATIENT or NONPATIENT.
    Intervention List Length
    Select the number of hours that the list should use.
    Attach Indirect Workload
    If this field is selected, the total minutes calculated from the Indirect Workloads Worksheet of the unit for the day part is added to a patient's total workload.
    Patient Care Type
    Select the patient care type for the list. Only patient care types configured for the unit are available for selection.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. To add an intervention to the intervention list, follow these sub-steps:
    1. Move to the Unit Interventions section, select the Intervention Name then click + (plus symbol).
    2. You can filter the interventions by first selecting an Intervention Category or an Intervention Type.
    3. Edit the normal time, frequency and intervention flags as required.
    4. Click Submit when you are finished configuring the new intervention.
      The Workload Value is calculated when the intervention list is saved.
  6. Specify the dates during which the change should be used in the Override Start and Stop Dates or select Permanent if the change should be ongoing.
  7. When you are finished making updates, click Submit.
