Must have sufficient balance to cover desired time off

  1. Create a new time code for paid sick time. For example:
    Time Code Description Affects Balances
    PAID-SICK Paid Sick for Emps [checked]
  2. Configure the new time code to decrement the paid sick balance in minutes. For example:
    Balance Name Balance Type
    PAID-SICK DECREMENT MINUTES

    When an override is created with a time duration that exceeds the available balance, that day’s timesheet is in error. Alternatively, a client can use the existing SICK balance or other specified balance of their choice. The time code must be configured to decrement the balance in minutes.
