Configure the specific balance to display in hours and minutes format

As an administrator, you can configure a specific balance to display in hours and minutes format.

  1. Select Maintenance > Balances and Accruals > Balances.
  2. Click the Turn ON config mode icon.
  3. Click the localization (orange diamond) icon next to the Display Format field. By default, this field is hidden.
    The Field Localization window is displayed for the DURFMT_ID field.
  4. In the Field UI drop-down list, change the value from HiddenUI to DBLookupUI.
  5. Click Save and close the window.
  6. Click the Turn OFF config mode icon.
  7. Click Edit next to your balance.
  8. In the Display Format field, select the HOURS & MINUTES option from the lookup.
    The HOURS & MINUTES option can only be selected if the corresponding balance type has the Unit conversion to minutes field configured correctly.
  9. Click Save.
In mobility, the balance is presented in the format HH[h] mm[m] where [h] and [m] are localizable symbols for hours and minutes. The system automatically rounds down to the nearest minute if the balance value does not convert to an exact minute. For example, a balance of 7.51 hours results in 7h 30m (7.51 hours * 60 = 450.6 minutes).
