Creating the Auto Assignment Scheduler Task

Auto Assignment requires that a background task is running. Use these steps to create the Auto Assignment Scheduler Task.

  1. Navigate to Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
  2. To create the schedule for running the task, follow these steps.
    1. Click Add Schedule.
    2. Assign a name to the schedule. Choose a name that helps schedulers locate the task.
    3. Choose the Task Type. From the list, select AutoAssignmentSchedulerTask.

  3. Specify a schedule for the task. We recommend that you configure the task to run every five seconds. After you configure the task, the screen displays this message.

  4. Click Submit.
