Employee Age Filter
The Employee Age Filter
selects employees based on an age range. It can be
used, for example, to create an Auto-Assignment group to comply with laws that regulate
the scheduling of minor employees under the age of 18. The Employee Age From parameter determines the age in
years of the youngest employees selected by the filter. The Employee Age To parameter determines the age in
years for the oldest employees selected by the filter.
Employee ages are calculated based on the Birth Date field, which is stored in the employee profile. When generating a schedule, an employee's birth date is compared with the schedule start date to determine the employee's age.
Auto-Assignment groups that include an Employee Age Filter
are
automatically given higher priority over other groups when generating a schedule. This
helps ensure that employees in specific age groups are selected first, so the overall
schedule can comply with age-specific legal requirements.
