Configuring shift order

The Shift Order tab is where you can select how shifts are prioritized for the Auto-Assignment group. The options in this tab are only supported for MVS.

  1. From the Configuration page for the Auto-Assignment group, click the Shift Order tab.
  2. Select one of these shift sort orders in the Add Shift Sort Order field.
    Shift Type Sort Order
    Sorts shifts based on shift type.
    Day Part Sort Order
    Sorts shifts based on shift day part.
    Activity Sort Order
    Sorts shifts based on shift activity.
  3. Click Add Shift Sort Order.
    The Shift Sort Order Details pane is displayed.
  4. Specify a name for the shift sort order that you selected in the Label field.
  5. Click Save.
    Your new shift sort order is added to the list in the Shift Order pane.
You can specify a priority for your shift sort order by dragging and dropping items to the desired priority.
