Viewing an employee's average service hours
Users with sufficient privileges can view average service hours either by employee or by measurement group directly within the Workforce Management application.

Select
Maintenance > Optional
Modules > Affordable Care
Act > Employee Service Hours.
The Employee Average Hour page is displayed.
- Select the employees and the measurement groups that you want to review.
- Select the as-of date in the Date field.
- Optionally, filter out employees who are under or over the 30-hour threshold that the Affordable Care Act uses for determining an employee’s full-time status.

The results are displayed in the area below the selection criteria:
- Employee Name
- The employee’s unique identifier.
- Full Name
- The employee’s full name.
- Measurement Group
- The name of the measurement group to which the employee belongs for the specified date.
- Group Duration
- The Unit and Unit Type values that are associated with the employee’s measurement group. This is the expected duration of each period (as defined in the measurement group; not the period itself).
- Period Start Date
- The start date of the measurement period within which the selected date falls.
- Period End Date
- The end date of the measurement period within which the selected date falls.
- As of Days
- Numeric value indicating how far into the measurement period the employee currently is. For example, if an employee’s measurement period began on January 1st and this page is requested as of April 1st, then the value here is 90.
- Average Hour/Week
- The employee’s calculated average service hours per week. This calculation takes all recorded service and leave hours and performs the necessary calculations. The period of time spanning from the measurement period start date until the as-of date is taken into account.
- Average Hour/Month
- Similar to Average Hour/Week, but shows the calculated average service hours per month.
