Calculating multiple shift overrides

This table describes how the calculation of overrides for multiple shifts occurs in the timesheet.

Override Calculating Multiple Shift Overrides in the Daily Timesheet
LTA For full-day LTA overrides and work detail overrides, that is without start times and end times, all the shifts are affected and the GAP work detail remains.

LTA breaks are removed from the work detail records and the GAP detail spans the time of the removed break.

Partial Day Are applied to the work details between the specified times, except for GAP details.
Clock The times between shifts are not indicated with a UAT time code but instead with the GAP time code.
Elapsed Time overrides Only affects the primary shift work details. All work details that are related to additional shifts are removed.
Quick Edit (In/Out Code, Full Day Code) The In/Out Codes affect both the primary and additional shifts. Full Day Codes are applied to the primary shift, and all work details that are related to additional shifts are removed.

Graces apply to the primary shift only by default. If the Applytoallshifts parameter in the registry is set, then the graces are applied to all the multiple shifts.

Rounding apply to the primary shift only by default. If the Applytoallshifts parameter is set, then the rounding is applied to all the multiple shifts.

Shift Premiums There are no changes to the Shift Premium Zone definition. The rule has the Applytoallshifts parameter default set to false.

If the Applytoallshifts parameter is set to true, then the eligibility for a shift premium zone is determined based on all shifts for the current day. Otherwise, the eligibility is based on the primary shift.
