Recalculate Task

You can configure the Recalculate Task to recalculate employee data based on several types of changes or under different conditions, including:

  • Balance changes
  • Business rule changes
  • Calculation group changes
  • Entitlement policy changes
  • Job rate changes
  • Employee clocks
  • Inactive timesheets
  • Pending overrides

You can configure the Recalculate Task to capture these different changes and conditions by using different task parameters. These sections summarize how you can configure the Recalculate Task to take into account the different kinds of changes and conditions that drive the recalculation of records.

You should only use the parameters of the Recalculate Task that address changes or triggers that are not covered by the AutoRecalc engine. For example, configuring the Recalculate Task to recalculate employee clocks is redundant if the AutoRecalc engine is set to recalculate employee records as clocks are processed.
