Action Items

Action Items represent employee transactions that are generated through workflows that need approval, such as PTO requests and Availability Change requests. The number that is displayed on the icon for Action Items indicates the number of unread notifications that need attention.

To see the Action Items:

  • Click the Action Item button.
  • Click on one of the available entries.

The application will redirect you to the corresponding transaction page so that you can act on the Action Item and complete the workflow.

When the actionItems registry parameter is set to Unread, notifications are removed from Action Items after you click the notification to read it even if your action is still pending. The registry parameter can be set to Assigned so that notifications are not removed until you complete the pending action such as approving or rejecting the request.
