Assigning employees to calculation groups

Each employee is assigned a calculation group. The initial assignment occurs when the employee is created, but the employee override page can be used to change the assignment.

  1. Select Maintenance > > Employees > Employee Basic Information – Override.
  2. Specify the employee whom you are assigning to the calculation group in the Employee field.
  3. Leave the date as the default value and click Go.
  4. In the Employee section, specify the appropriate calculation group in the Calc Group field.
  5. In the Employee Labor Allocation section, select one of these options:
    • If this calculation group assignment is to be temporary, clear the Permanent check box and specify the dates the override begins and ends.
    • If this calculation group assignment is to be temporary, select the Permanent check box and specify the date the override begins.
  6. Click Submit.
