After implementing labor metrics

After the labor metrics have been defined and the employees’ default labor allocation information has been entered:

  • If the company time is recorded using readers, every time an employee clocks on or clocks off the reader, time is charged and recorded in accordance with the employee’s default labor allocation details.
  • Every time an authorized user updates an employee’s timesheet, time is charged and recorded in accordance with the employee’s default labor allocation details.

Swipe overrides

If overrides are entered at a company where the labor metrics are being tracked, the overrides are handled in this order:

  1. Time is charged according to the employee’s default labor allocation (DLA) specifications.
  2. Job and Docket swipes override DLA specifications.
  3. Manual entries through the Timesheet (daily) page override Job and Docket swipes, as well as DLA specifications.
