Setting the security permissions of tasks

After you have set up and submitted a task’s details, you can grant permissions to security groups to view, edit, and run the task in the Job Scheduler.

To set the security permissions of a task:

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
  2. Click Edit next to the task for which you want to set security permissions.
  3. Click SET in the Task Security row.
  4. Select the groups to which you want to assign security permissions.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Click Submit.
