Employees

After readers have been created, employees must be assigned to reader groups. Employees can only clock on or off on readers that are assigned to their reader group. An employee may be added to multiple reader groups.

In addition, to assign employees to reader groups, you must ensure each employee is assigned a badge number. Without a badge number, an employee cannot perform clock punches. Although this is normally done through the Employee Import interface, you can manually assign badge numbers to employees directly in the application.
