Task Management

Task Creation

Users can create new tasks that include the following key points: descriptions of work to be done, qualifications for who can do the work, dates the tasks must be performed, and supporting documentation and multimedia for the task. These tasks can then be distributed to one or more locations within the system.

Task Distribution

Users can select locations from the team hierarchy in order to distribute a task based on the existing hierarchical structure. In addition, filters can be applied to the selected hierarchy based on location properties. For example, a user could select the Northeast district, then filter to include only locations that are greater than 3000 square feet. These location and filter combinations can be saved as templates for use in future task distribution.

Task View

The location managers receive notification when new tasks are distributed. Managers also are able to view all current tasks in a prioritized listing. The listing allows managers to drill down into the details of each step. Calendar views for a week or a month allows the manager to easily review current and upcoming tasks.

Task Assignment

From the task notification, listing, or the calendar views, a manager can assign a task to an employee. The assignment process is integrated with the employee schedules to ensure that the task is assigned only to employees who are working on the selected date. Task assignment is also integrated into the LFSO schedule screens, allowing the assignment of task work during the editing of shifts.

Task Completion

Managers can update task completion status within the task listing.
