Input validation default settings

WFM's Input Validation feature is now enabled by default for all upgrades. For upgrades, this may have an impact if you previously did not have Input Validation enabled and your data contains special characters such as single quotes in employee names. The preferred action in this case is to either change or add Input Validation rules to allow for the special characters in the specific parameters. Disabling input validation is not recommended.

For more information on configuring Input Validation and adding or changing rules to allow for special characters, see the following documentation:

  • Infor Workforce Management Installation and Configuration Guide.
  • Infor Workforce Management Registry Parameter Reference.
