About this guide

This document provides you with information and guidelines for implementing the Shift Billboard module in the Infor Workforce Management (WFM) application. The Shift Billboard allows teams to post shifts that can be claimed by employees that want to work the shifts. Managers can reduce understaffing by posting open shifts. Employees can increase control of their own schedules by posting shifts to the billboard and claiming shifts posted by managers or other employees.

Shift Billboard can be used by customers that create schedules using the Multiview Scheduler (MVS) module or the Labor Forecasting and Scheduling Optimization (LFSO) module. This guide helps explain how Shift Billboard integrates with the scheduling modules and how to configure Shift Billboard to achieve your client's scheduling requirements.

Intended audience

This guide is intended for system implementers and system administrators. It assumes that you have good knowledge of the WFM application and of the features of the relevant scheduling module. This guide calls attention to, through notes or through separate chapters, Shift Billboard features that are specific to either the MVS or LFSO module.
