Default security configurations
Users in these security groups can access the Self Service Portal by default:
- WEBSERVICE USER
- SYSTEM ADMINS
- SUPERVISORS
- PAYROLL ADMIN
- OTHERS
- INFOR ADMINS
- EXECUTIVES
- EMPLOYEE
Access is granted through the SS_PORTAL maintenance form.
This table shows the security groups that have access to each menu item in an out-of-the box solution:

By default, only users in the SUPERVISORS security group have access to the My Staff and Approve Time Off menu options.
Folder-level security takes precedence over feature-level security. For example, if a user has access to the My Staff Dashboard, but not the My Staff menu item, the user will not be access to access the My Staff Dashboard either.
